Motorola Edge 30 Pro Start Receiving Android 13 Update

The Moto Edge 30 Pro is Motorola’s first phone to get a stable Android 13 update. The reports of Android 13 being delivered to Edge 30 Pro comes from a Reddit post in the Motorola subreddit, where a number of users have reported receiving the upgrade on their devices, specifically in regions like Brazil and Mexico.

The new build, which brings with it Android 13, is labeled T1SH33.35-23-20 and weighs around 1.60GB size. It may take a few days for it to reach all the devices out there in the wild. In the meantime, if you’re impatient, you can manually check for the new software by going to Settings > System > System updates.

The Moto Edge 30 Pro Android 13 update offers more theme, color, and icon customization options. The update also brings a new look to the control of media playing in notifications, the ability to set different languages for different apps and on the lock screen, improved permissions, a new Privacy Panel in Settings, and more. Another change added with Android 13 is the power button, which now triggers the Google Assistant when held for a few seconds.

How to Update Moto Edge 30 Pro to Android 13 manually

As mentioned, the latest software update for the Edge 30 Pro is rolling out in a phased method. Hence it will take some days to cover all the devices at once. You will receive a software update notification, or you can Download Moto Edge 30 Pro Android 13 OTA zip from below and update it manually.

If the update is not available on your phone, you may either wait a few days or manually update the Moto Edge 30 Pro to Android 13 using the above OTA file. Before installing the update, make a backup of your device and ensure that you have enough storage space.
